the renaming was a load of bolocks in my oipinion awell, its a name, still the same airport, flying to turkey from auld teeside next month :D miss the blackburn game though :( | |

I think you'll find that passenger numbers since the Peel buyout and name change are vastly improved to those prior to it. What a handicap it must be, having to try and develop an airport that was under-funded for years whilst dealing with pillocks still bleating on about a re-branding excercise. | |

the airport isnt that far from darlington and whenever i have been to darlington train station there is a empty bus that takes people to the airport. Rarely is anyone on it. They should publicise it more as being close to the main line. it must be only a tenner is taxi fair. or maybe they do publicise it. | |

Seems to be the most expensive airport in the country. Do a flight search and you will find flights a hell of alot cheaper at nearly every airport. | |
