It makes me laugh when the usual suspects on here slag The Daily Mail, The Sun etc, and claim that if something is printed in them, then it`s fabricated. What you idiots don`t realise is that many journalists will move from paper to paper during their career. so, using this argument.... Gary Pallister played for Billingham and then moved eventually to Man Utd, therefore Billingham and Man Utd are equivalent. Journalists can evolve from the monosyllabic drivel of the Sun, and back again. I wouldn't claim everything written in the Sun, Mail etc. was fabricated, just that I wouldn't even wipe my @rse with it. The large majority of newspapers are rigth wing and owned by rich guys pushing an agenda. Only the Guardian and Independent are centre-left leaning. And the Guardian is the only paper that is not owned by some rich guy. It is run by a trust which gives the editor complete freedom and actually runs at a loss - it is subsidised by auto-trader magazine which is part of the group. Really all papers should be run like the Guardian and then we would have a lot less pushing of owners opinions onto us. | |

If only it was as harmless as papers pushing the views of their owners on to us. Blair couldn't have won any of his elections without the support of the Sun telling the working class who to vote for, therefore any semblance of socialism is ejected in favour of sucking up to Murdoch, and the working class become unwitting creators of their own doom. | |
