Strange, I was only watching 'Stranglehold' on Youtube last night.
Charlie Harper is 63 FFS!!!
Wattie Buchan is 50
Captain Sensible is 53

Where have the years gone???

re: UK Subs

i find it a tad sad that mr. harper has to resort to touting himself around pub venues playing to 30-40 people and still dressing like it's 1977

re: UK Subs

Last time I saw the Subs was about 79 in Scarborough, spent the night under a road bridge. Pity I will be on Holiday when they play, think I would have stood in a dark corner if I could have made it

FAO: WAVEEY DAVEEY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah - your talking Cr+p - Harper dont think he is back in 77 at all mate - basically, he is just doing what he loves to do - same reason old men still play football and go fishing and stuff like that. Lets not forget that the Subs were a big punki band to go and see at the time and its probably hard to let go of something ye love. So just chill out and get yeself there.

re: UK Subversives (to give 'em t' full name)

i'd have thought charlie was older than 63....

he was 50 over 20 years ago !!

perhaps his making a political point about the gov't plans to make us all work until were 70....

Our Johnathon, Obviously Norwich. The Brickmakers is the Venue with Bands on 7 days a week, still give me a pang for the Rock Garden.

Badge.
Think I ended up going with Cogga and the Sammy's from Doggey on our own.
Had the same a Whitby with Bad Manners, ended up in the Priory after dodging the bottle throwers from the badlands of North Yorkshire, I was only going to Eaterside to see some mates.
