(Well, you never know...) I've just been talking to a bloke who's come here for a meeting who supports Farsley Celtic. He said he was from Farsley and then was most impressed when I mentioned Celtic.

Let's hope Spoff or Wakey don't open faos for other people the way I do. You may have seen that, following Farsley's elevation to the Blue Square Premier (the artist formerly known as the Conference, the Gola League and the Alliance Premier) they have been having trouble attracting a sponsor because no one seems to know where Farsley is. A change of name to something with 'Leeds' in it has been mooted. That may or may not be just a publicity stunt, but you could impress the bloke even further by mentioning it. Oooh, good work. I might not see him again though, he's gone into a meeting and could be some time. I shall try and remember that info for future reference though. | |
