Great place back in the early to mid 90's but it'll never recapture those days simply because the people have changed, the music they play has become a lot more commercial etc. | |

They weren't Cobain, not the days that I'm talking about. 1992 - 1995 great days and though Needle Damage was good the few times I went it wasnt a patch on Cactus and Lust nights from back then. Then again I wasnt 16/17 when I went back, so it's all relative. | |

I used to go when it first opened and it was class, but those days have long gone. Boro needs live music not dance music. The Horses Mouth was also a top night. Bring back the comedy night. --- Post edited by grantus on 8/8 10:38 --- | |

Aye the comedy nights were class... I saw Uncle Pete (from the vic Reeves big night out) there in the mid 90's... He was pure class... spent the first 10 minutes of the gig playing the drums with a loaf of bread. Genius. Boro needs a proper live music venue to showcase local stuff and attract chart acts. The arena has (had) a good capacity and atmos... hope it sways in that direction. | |
