Well done Errea

Worked throughout the day and night, as well as through Italys traditional holiday in order to get the shirts out for the start of the season, following the late sponsorship announcement.

There's no way Nike or Umbro would have done that!

re: Well done Errea

Absolutely superb that is. And a great bit of marketing from the club, everyone will want to get one at the game, genius!

re: Well done Errea

i am sure man utd and arsenal are considering dumping nike to get this sort of service.

re: Well done Errea

Nike would have just hired more kids.

But yes, well done to Errea.

re: Well done Errea

Perhaps they should, or perhaps they do get that sort of service which is why they choose to use them and we choose to use Errea because they prioritise our requests as one of their biggest customers?

re: Well done Errea

Not available from saturday at all good sports shops.

re: Well done Errea

Nike or umbro would probably insist the new sponsor was in place by the end of last season so they can get the kit ready in may.

re: Well done Errea

Can you imagine the long queues up and down the coutry on Saturday if only we sold them outside of Teesside.

re: Well done Errea

I really hope this thread was started 'tongue in cheek'.

Errea produce absolute garbabge year in, year out. Designs are very basic and quality is terrible. My young lad got Boro kit and England Kit last Feb for his birthday, both worn equally the same I would guess, the boro one is a disgrace, clicks all over it, discoloured and mess, whilst the England shirt, produced by a 'proper comapny' looks almost new.

I for one will not wear another boro shirt until they switch manufacturer. Even York City is produced by Nike!

re: Well done Errea

Would save Sportsworld at Teesside Park being full of Mackem and Geordie kits when you walk in.

re: Well done Errea

I must be the only one who's Boro tops haven't gone crap. I've got worse for wear adidas tops.

re: Well done Errea

The last few seasons shirts have not been too bad.

However I seem to remember the first few that Errea produced being awful.

KENDAL Posted on 8/8 13:12
re: Well done Errea

I think NIKE and UMBRO would have taken longer because they would have to embroider the club crest on the shirt, as opposed to ironing on a transfer.

So??

Turner_86 Posted on 8/8 13:13
re: Well done Errea

Mbould, I don't believe that at all I'm afraid.

My Boro shirts are all in good condition, I also have the current red England shirt made by 'a proper company', which I'm actually wearing now, the material has come away on the flag on the shoulder, and there is cotton coming away all around the bottom. I look like a scruffy git, good job I'm not going anywhere

boroPE Posted on 8/8 13:15
re: Well done Errea

My sons wearing copy Barcelona shirts. Not a click in sight unlike his last season Boro away kit.

boroPE Posted on 8/8 13:15
re: Well done Errea

So id like to burn the lot and see Boro shirts in there.

Corrupt Biggins/Table_Football

You must be having a laugh? Get yerself down to JJB look at an England Shirt, Liverpool, Utd etc, then, pop to our sole outlet (clubshop) and compare, honest its unbelieveable, ours look so poor, they dont even hang correctly when on the hanger!

re: Well done Errea

CB - I also have never had a problem with an Errea top. Also, quality-wise, I have one of the early BT-Cellnet home tops, the one with embroidered logos - never seen a shirt to equal it.

re: Well done Errea

I'm a bit puzzled by the club's comments. 90% of the suppliers my employers deals with are Italian, and every single one of them closed on Monday just gone, until 27th August. So to say they have worked through the "normal factory fortnight" is just utter crap.

And no, Nike or Adidas wouldnt have done that, as they're produced in China and Taiwan where the factories dont close for a month, not Italy.

captain5 Posted on 8/8 13:17
re: Well done Errea

boroPE - just dont think how a sports shop looks is that big a deal.

Turner_86 Posted on 8/8 13:18
re: Well done Errea

RedSector, do you mean this one? One of my favourite home shirts, not a click on it, still wear it now, top quality.

Link: Nike? pah!

re: Well done Errea

I got the European Boro Shirt and it's fine so far.

The only thing is i think Nike,Addidas or Umbro would do a better Polo Shirt only my opinion.
