Moving away

People who move away, woud you like to come back?

The reason I ask is because my mate's recently moved to London and it's boiling my piss that he'd rather be on Teesside when I hate living up here with a passion and am stuck here until I get enough experience to move.

This will attract the teesside millitants who will no doubt hang me but i don't care.

re: Moving away

I lived away for a long long time. Left at 17, moved back at 38.

Used to hate the place but now I think the North East is as good as it gets in the UK.

re: Moving away

Looks like I'd better lower my standards in what I want out of life if this is the best it has to offer.

re: Moving away

I lived down south for a few years
Missed Teesside massively and moved back in 1999
Won't move outside the Middlesbrough Stockton Billingham Yarm Redcar Saltburn Thornaby Eaglescliffe etc area again
Need to be near my family and friends

Cobain.....standards or expectations?

What do YOU want from life, and why do you think that is better serviced outside of Teesside?

Life is pretty much what you make of it. Maybe you need to take a look at yourself before you start blaming where you live.

re: Moving away

I've been at uni in London for the past 2 years. I've come back for the summer and the other holidays, but this coming year is my final year and I'll probably be looking to move there permanently. I don't think I'm ever likely to come back to the NE permanently.

I don't know, I was pretty happy in Thailand. Why was that? Maybe because it was a good place and not this sh_it hole?

1, If you hate it that much why don't you leave now.
2, Is it your mate that your missing?
3, You should always be proud of where you come from

re: Moving away

The reason I don't leave is it's not easy. I need experience to get another job which I won't get for a couple of years.

I am proud of where I come from, otherwise I wouldnt support Boro.

15 years in Sussex.

Originally from South Bank and moved to London when I was 4.

Live in Sussex now,and come back to Boro about twice or three times a year.

Thought about moving back, but theres nothing that interests me other then the football in Boro.
