Hello Mate, Do you know of any pubs that'll be showing our game on Wednesday night, given that the Arsenal game is on at the same time ? I asked the landlord of the Anchor and he said that he'd probably have it on as he's got Sky Sports however I cant imagine the locals getting restless if they want to watch Arsenal. Any pubs you know for sure that are showing it as I'd rather not take the risk of ending up listening to it on 5-Live. | |

The Stage Door, Hitchin ? Even you must admit that The Stage Door isnt the best pub to watch football in, however I'll admit it's better than nothing. | |

The point being that, while it might not be the best pub in the world (and it's nothing like as bad as some made it out to be), you can guarantee that the Boro match will be on in there when there are games on other channels that others in the pub might prefer to watch, that's all. | |

You should have done. I think we are trying to establish a Teesside version of the Watford Boys' 'Library Corner' so it would have livened things up. No score predictions either - he's had them scared out of him I believe! I did predict a goal for your new heart throb, though. Sorry, Mr J, the comment wasn't directed at you. The problem is they'll probably also advertise Al-Jazeera and Setanta and so be able to pick up more than just our match. I might just march over to the Anchor early and ask him to put it on before everyone else gets in. | |

I hope to its my boys 13th and we are meant to be going out for something to eat but on the basis he had his mates over at the weekend and they shot me to bits paintballing we might be able to persuade mrs redhert for an early tea and slip off and join you. | |
