Its not mixed messages... He was told he wasnt good enough to be a midfielder and would be considered as an attacker... Then he was pants through pre season and not good enough for the team. Then we signed Mido. End of. | |

Never done anything wrong in my eyes. Just wasn't a fashionable enough signing for some in the days of 'spectacular' buys. When he played the majority of his games for Boro we were going through a bad patch as a team and he seemed to be a fall guy. He doesn;t deserve the stick that he gets from our fans. There have been much worse players and he actually WANTS to play for Boro, unlike some of our overpaid and egotistical stars of the past. Perhaps he wasn't quite what we were looking for as we look to progress as team but I say good luck to him. | |

When I saw the team in Bristol, only one Boro player refused an eight year old fan an autograph with the excuse 'I don't have time' before getting on the bus 20 minutes before it left. It was Jason Euell. | |

I agree with you Brick.The guy came here, made an effort to really settle in the area and club, never heard any negative comments from him but it just has not worked out. Certainly appeared one of the most likeable guys as a person we've had recently.I wish him well. | |

I only saw him a couple of times and I thought he was ok squad player. I think it was 2 wins - Everton and Newcastle at home. Euell missed about 4 chances in one game, but he was getting in scoring positions. I know 99% of you think he is a waste of space at Prem level and you may be right, if you saw him in games I didn't. Like first poster I would guess it clears the way for another signing as we must have smallest squad in the Premiership at present. | |
