where will sundrland finish now?

After an injetion of real world, what is the view of many on here who thought Sunderland will do well and avoid relegation this season.

I still think they'll go down.

Anyone still think they'll stay up?

18-19th. There is only 1 relegation place left as far as i can see.

Scumderland and Derby are already down for me

they'll miss whitehead, but i think the goalkeeper will keep them up, he is different class.

They're dogshyte, but not as bad as Derby.

They'll get about 23 points.

Looks like they've made the same mistake as McCarthy.

They've bought loads of average players instead of 4 or 5 solid premiership players.

It doesn't look good for them.

re: where will sundrland finish now?

Granted I would have their keeper but apart from that I don't think they have enough quality to survive and no keeper; no matter how good will be able to keep enough out to keep them up over the course of the season! The defence is poor and they won't score too many either IMHO
I can see them going down and Keane walking out end of season.

re: where will sundrland finish now?

Keane has constantly bought Championship players, so expecting them all to become good PL players was a tad naive. And the next signings? Two more Championship players, Kenwyne Jones and Higginbottam.

They might stay up, 17th at best.

Lacking PL quality throughout the team will cost them. And they don't seem to have quality in depth either.....so when they get a few injuries they will be f_cked.

re: where will sundrland finish now?

They might break their own record of being the worst team the premiership has seen.................twice!

Derby,Sunlun,Wigan to go.

It would makes what Robbo did for us look all the more impressive.

Keane has had similar money to spend, a similar "name", both based in the North East and yet he may not manage to keep them up.
