Well done Durham

They won the pro 40 2nd division, along with the LV trophy win and on for a really good finish in the county championship it's been a good season for them.

Nah I'm actually from the dump that is commonly known as Sunderland.

re: Well done Durham

I could never bring my self to support a team that is linked to Geordies and Mackems.

re: Well done Durham

As i'm from County Durham I'm stuck with them -

Salford in "I'm a Geordie" confession at last!!

I always knew!!

re: Well done Durham

Considering about half our fan base is from north of the river (Stockton, billingham, sedgefield and further afield)its no surprise to see support for Durham on here. They are not in any way more linked to geordies than us . Newcastle is in Northumberland , not Durham but like boro they will have fans on the "Durham side of the river". This is good for all in the NE who like cricket.
Personally I follow Durham and Yorkshire.

Oi Wolgang Leave it alone mate.

There will probably be a lot of people from Gatehead who have Co Durham on their Birth Certs as I think - please correct me if I am wrong - that Gateshead was once part of Co Durham.

But well said BZ

re: Well done Durham

Sadly think you're right Salford.

County Durham once stretched from Tees - Tyne, until they wised up and kicked the geordie and mackum scum into their hovels that exist today.

re: Well done Durham

Durham have done amazingly.

For a side who field so many home-grown players, to achieved what they have this season is simply fantastic.

I've always had a soft spot for Durham after representing them up to the age of 18, and working there in the Marketing and Media department too.

Lighten up Rich

re: Well done Durham

Me Lighten up - nah I won't yah coont

Any look on the job front mate

Andrew Davies Bro plays for them although he has been out on loan and has had a few injury problems I think, so from a boro perspective that one excuse to look out for Durham scores

re: Well done Durham

I started a job today, and as you can see, I'm already abusing my position

Its a crappy temping job for North Yorks Council but it will dramatically improve the odds of me getting drunk. And theres a pub a stones throw away too

I'm good mates with Mark and Andrew Davies. Mark's had his injury problems of late but I hope he can stay fit to see Durham to the title.

I think we're going to miss out Wolfgang. That defeat to the red rose put the mockers on it.

re: Well done Durham

I like Durham and Yorkshire too. Is that wrong? Don't forget as well that Plunkett is from the Boro. We're kinda stuck in the middle anyway in between Durham and Yorkshire so it gets complicated.

Well done to Durham anyway, great stuff for such a young club.
