People with dogs and cats...

...who refer to themselves as the animals "Mam" or "Dad" as in "Oh look what Rover has brough Mummy".

Need their head seeing to in my opinion.

No they don't. They need shooting.

Doesn't your dog love you? Or is it calling someone else Mammy/Daddy?

They need their head seeing to and then they need shooting, just to be on the safe side.

I also dont like animals, but that's by the by.

I think there may be greater problems in the world, however I would shoot the tvvat who passes me every morning on my way to work, he has a headlight out so uses his remaining one on full beam, with his fog lights on.

re: People with dogs and cats...

I very rarely get overly annoyed about anything, but there was an exception on Saturday. I was waiting in the car and saw a couple, probably in their 40s, pull up and park across two disabled spots. They finished their cigarettes, threw them out of the window, the kid in the back finished his coke and threw the can out of the window, they got out of the car, not even a crutch amongst them, and disappeared into the shops. They needed shooting, their car needed keying and the tyres needed letting down, if not removed completely. Selfish, ignorant (excuse my language) tw*ts.

Being a slob is a disability too you know. The poor things probably couldn't be bothered to show their parking badge.

Why won't the world understand?

Lizard, once you are married you will want a dog for peace and quiet

And you can boss the dog about, and you get to wash it's under chassis.

re: People with dogs and cats...

My ex used to call our cats 'the girls', to which I would make a point of correcting her every time, without fail. They were 'the cats'.

bandito Posted on 25/9 10:31
re: People with dogs and cats...

what about people that buy christmas presents for their pets and take photos of the dog opening it's stocking? Mental help required methinks

zoec Posted on 25/9 10:36
re: People with dogs and cats...

And people who dress their dogs up in Santa hats and sunglasses and send to magazines with the witty caption "here's Spot, all ready for the festive season and looking a real cool customer."

Hanging is too good.

bandito Posted on 25/9 10:39
re: People with dogs and cats...

the best ones are the people that take photos of their cat in the bath and put captions like "here's felix, doing his best Yoda impression"

Your're all sick animal hating fur wearers.

radiogaga Posted on 25/9 10:42
re: People with dogs and cats...

People who have dead hard dogs with spikey collars are worse than the ones who buy them presents.

bandito Posted on 25/9 10:56
re: People with dogs and cats...

what about these families that have tons of dogs running round the living room letting them lick their new born babies face and coming out with crap like "oh, he's dead friendly is our tyrone"

yeah right. It's irresponsible and your house stinks

We'll see. Your missus will want a kitten.

I'm waiting for my son to say "dad, I want guinea pig"

re: People with dogs and cats...

When vets send out reminders for booster jabs, why do they address the letter to the animal? And assume the animal not only has a surname, but the same surname as the owner? You'd think a vet would realise a dog can't read.

I feel sorry for the poor secretary who has to spend all day typing letters to "Killer Johnson" and "Tiddles Smith".

re: People with dogs and cats...

We've gained another cat recently, thanks to our little lad making friends with the one next door and him moving in (to the relief of his previous owners). He's a pain in the neck, always underfoot. You find yourself goose-stepping around the place, trying to kick the cat out of the way and ending up in a strange game of keepy-uppy using a cat instead of a ball. He doesn't seem to mind.

The_Lizards_Jumpers Posted on 25/9 11:09
re: People with dogs and cats...

My missus knows of my dislike for animals and given that we're both never actually in the house she realises it would be unfair to get an animal.

Bandy, get him a badger !

speckyget Posted on 25/9 11:12
re: People with dogs and cats...

That's the part of cat behaviour/ownership I could never get to grips with. They just take a fancy to the type of minced haddock guts on offer in a particular household and 'move in'. Bunch of freeloading moochers.

Boro_Gadgie Posted on 25/9 11:12
re: People with dogs and cats...

I know someone with a dog AND a cat, and two pets actually get on with one another. I keep telling her that there must be summat wrong with the dog as it must be soft or summat. Every dog I've ever had, if they see a cat, they want to go for the thing. Cats are evil.

Azedarac Posted on 25/9 11:15
re: People with dogs and cats...

If you already have the cat when you get the dog they'll get on. If you own a dog and try to introduce a cat into the house they'll fight like, well like cats and dogs.

boroboy75 Posted on 25/9 11:18
re: People with dogs and cats...

Cat's are disgusting animals. People have cat litters, which actively encourages them to shyte in the house.
Some dirty bastads actually have them in their kitchen.

zoec Posted on 25/9 11:24
re: People with dogs and cats...

I must admit, I can't understand that either, boroboy. Every cat we've had has been house-trained. The thought of preparing your dinner with a turd sitting in the corner isn't a pleasant one.

bandito Posted on 25/9 11:26
re: People with dogs and cats...

we've got a cat and there's no way it would be allowed to log in the house

Stop inviting Lisbon round then.

re: People with dogs and cats...

I used to have some pet rocks until I got sick of them - then I put them in a sack - weighted it down with some kittens and through it in the canal.
