Cheers Raymundo

The reserves carried on their unbeaten start to the season by beating Everton at The Riverside tonight.

Brad Jones, Tony McMahon, Jon Grounds (capt), Rhys Williams, Seb Hines, John Johnson, Graeme Owens (Ashley Corker), Richard Smallwood (Jon Franks), Stephen Thompson, Ben Hutchinson, Joe Bennett (Herold Goulon)

Goals from Thompson, Johnson and an own goal.

Graeme Owens man of the match for me. Cracking move for Thompsons goal.

Also Brad Jones went down injured after taking a goal kick 5 minutes from the end and having used all 3 subs, John Johnson donned the gloves to the finish

Thta Jones injury sounds a bit worrying

re: BORO RES.

Hines did very well and Ive been very impressed with Owens. Was excellent tonight playing on the right wing

TeessideCleveland Posted on 2/10 22:05
re: BORO RES.

Is Owens right or left-footed Shaun?
I always assumed he was right-footed as he plays on the right but I'm sure Radio Cleveland said he was left-footed when he came on at Spurs last week

re: BORO RES.

how was young Richie Smallwood, only 16 and starting quite regularly for the reserves... must be one for the future!!

Shaun71 Posted on 2/10 22:20
re: BORO RES.

Hes right footed TC and played right wing tonight.

Richard Smallwood has had an excellent start to the season and did OK tonight. Needs to fill out a bit but that will come. As you say hes only 16, not 17 till December and only in his 1st year at the club
