re: free buses to bolton

Aye, right.

It would make sense though, god knows we need some backing, and with the current state of the team and the prices for the game, we aint gonna get it.

re: free buses to bolton

fulham put on free travel to anfield, 10 travel to sunderland. Chelsea offering cheap travel to wigan. its about time boro did it. bolton would be ideal, its sucha big game now to have 3,000 boro fans there to urge the team on

re: free buses to bolton

3000 Boro fans at Bolton........in reality there will be the same as last season, 600 tops.

re: free buses to bolton

There's certainly be a few thousand if they laid on a few free buses though.

But, they won't, because the Fordy et al, are short sighted morons.

re: free buses to bolton

are you daft? thats like buying players or getting a proper manager, it costs money, we wont be doing that

sasboro Posted on 27/10 17:38
re: free buses to bolton

players should have a whip round as a good PR gesture to thanks fans for their suport in these difficult times..that would do a lot to get the fans on the clubs side more than propaganda interviews in the local media

Well, I've heard everything now. You think that your chairman should provide free transport to motivate your fat backsides into going to a football game. Why?

You'd just find excuses not to go down anyway.

Good thinking sas.

Thought you were the concillor that posted on here.

Apologies if that is not the case.

re: free buses to bolton

I'm not but that's hardly the point. You lot speak as if it's your right that you should get a free ride to the game.

Why the fook should the club accomodate lazy tw ts to go the game, or do we only have fair-weather away fans now who will only go if the club puts it on a plate for them?

GUTLESS BORO FANS WANTING EVERYTHING AGAIN.

re: free buses to bolton

jon free transport for a very big game has been done by many clubs, iam not talking about every game just a one off game, would be great public relations and if it helps towards our premier status would be money well spent

re: free buses to bolton

Because Sunlun fans are renowned for backing their team when it's all going pear shaped, aren't they?

Bandwagon hoppers, just like their lardy neighbours.

re: free buses to bolton

Fat lot fo good it did Charlton getting all their fans up here on a freebie as well.

re: free buses to bolton

Skiprat, you would get a job at MFC.
Stuff the fans.

Tell you one reason why the crowds are falling is because the clb have the same attitude as yourself.

Fans want to feel part of the club and not an inconvenience to get in the way. We want to feel as important as the players. Feel that the club really need us more than the TV money.

DOnt you understand the club has to do more to try to halt the falling attendances. At this rate we will be below 20k a match in 2 seasons

re: free buses to bolton

All due respect jam but I think of it the other way around. Your chairman has forked out millions in wages funding the highest priced players into your club. Why can't the fans repay the goodwill gesture and take an en masse following to what you say is a massive game for the club. It just might remind the players of your passion for the club and kick start your season.
