o.t.m...i dont take offence at what the players say... i'm a Middlesbrough F.C. fan and supporter, it isnt aimed at me.i support and follow the club through thin and thinner...i'm not bothered who the players are or what league they play. perhaps The Catt has hit a raw nerve with the jonny come lately's, the band waggoners and those whove been around for a long time, but do nowt but whinge and moan the minute we hit a rough patch... | |

I don't think the club hold that view though. They would dearly love the missing 10,000 to come back and comments like Catts aren't helping. | |

i'm sure the bean counters would like a full stadium. i'd like a stadium of supporters who backed and supported the team, regardless of the numbers. if some who turn up wont and dont want to do that, i would much prefer they stayed away, and did something else with their lives. | |

Fortunately several of those who've left were NOT boobirds and may someday return. It's the negative, miserable, whinging, classless, chavs-with-money cretins that stayed on who should move away permanently and I wouldn't be surprised if Gibson felt that way also! | |

Possibly you would be in favour of some sort of entrance exam where a deep psychological investigation of any underlying traits could be discovered prior to the granting of a match ticket? On passing the rigorous test the 150 remaining supporters could sing themselves hoarse as the club went broke. | |

People booed at Ayresome, some went to every game all their lives, it depends on your personlity. Sometimes silence and not going has the same effect which has been on the increase. To me our problems lie at a few doors. The lack of quality strikers could have been avoided more by the club, by signing a striker before the Yak left. The management need to get more out of some of the players. | |
