Just the begininning of the week Adam Johnson was our great white hope, come to save our season and his introduction would guarantee a top 10 finish. Now all of a sudden following a decent game for the reserves Mendieta appears to have overtaken his as the player we've been crying out for. Confused, I am. | |

He's worth a gamble I suppose but is probably past it. The idea of playing Downing in the middle and Johnson on the left is probably a better bet | |
