re: Virgin Media

Been with them for about 5 years, obviously most of that time was when they were ntl. I've read a few people complain about them since it became Virgin, but I've barely had any problems. In all the time I've had it its been down 3 or 4 times, and for no more than a couple of hours each time. I currently have 4mb broadband and phone for £21.50 a month.

Also as its a cable broadband, you can actually get your full speed connection unlike the non cable providers.

Cheers Big_Shot. Had a scare couple of years ago with Virgin and Premium rate calls. Also with NTL who were rubish at Cable, but it looks like they have got there act together, hopefully

Initial transfer over and the setting up of things can sap you patience abit, mainley due to these voice activated service guides.

Once your speaking to the right people/department the service is good imo.I will also point out the product they provide broadband etc etc i feel is excellent have had no massive problems with them or when it was ntl.

Good point Skunk, nowt worse than talking to Bradfordistan and not getting your point across. How can they charge you £1:50 a min when you use thier phone, if so I will make sure to get that in any clause or no custom

Got the full whack - TV (all Sky movies, sports 1, 2 and 3 and Setanta), Phone and Internet for about £60 a month. No problems with them at all.

If you need to contact them and dont want to pay £1.50 a minute use this website and search for Virgin Media
