| Why is this Rangers friendly being played | |
behind closed doors????? If they had it at the Riverside on Saturday they`d get 20,000 minimum. This international break has been known about for ages, so it could have been arranged well in advance. Another opportunity for the club to make some cash has been missed here.

All the moderately talented players will be on international duty. Maybe Southgate wants a close look at the Cousin gadgie.

Wouldn't the Cleveland Police have a say to having a "Friendly" against Rangers.

Most of the jocks are gonna be more concerned with Scotland vs Italy.

it's a virtual reserve match isnt it? Probably only been arranged to give pogatetz and Huth the chance for another 90 minutes

oh dear indeed ski-prat. If you knew anything about football you`d know the size of the crowds that Boro v old firm games have drawn in the past, reserves or not.

For a game on any other day I would agree, but there's a certain quite important game on involving Scotland on Saturday which I would suggest you read up about.

I was at the Rangers V Boro friendly in summer '06 at Ibrox and there was about 33000 or so if I remember rightly. And there wasnt such strong teams out that day. Quite a few kids (Walker, Craddock etc) It was about 30c hotter than it will be on saturday mind

Every day we have threads about the price of attending football, now people seem to think people would be willing to pay to go to a meaningless friendly on the international weekend. Its all good and well going to pre season games in the summer, but mid season, come on. I've attended UEFA Cup games for a tenner with not much more than 10k in the ground. --- Post edited by Big_Shot on 15/11 15:36 ---
