If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Thats what I feel.

I am seriously worried. For some reason today its started to hit me.

Its strange. When we were bottom 3 in 97, i always thought we'd get the points, but now we have the points and its in our hands I can't see it.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

If we cannot get a win / at least a point from 2 home games against teams who are there for the taking....we deserve to go down.

End of.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Fingers crossed for a Spurs win at Reading.

If Southgate continues to persist with Arca in the middle then we'll lose.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Theres no way we will beat citeh .It will be Svens last game and they will fight for him just to stick it up their chairmen they call Dr Death .The players are apparently upset . That means we need to beat Pompey who are excellent away . Ive a grim feeling too Ponce

A point may not be good enough either given our goal difference Heaton.

I've don't all the scenarios on BBC.

Fulham Down. Birmingham Win 2, Wigan Lose 2, Reading 4 Points, Bolton Beat Sunderland and point at chelsea (stranger things have happened when it concerns boro)

We go down 37pts wigan and bolton stay up on GD.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Funnily enough we could get beat on Saturday and still be safe by 7pm.

I personally think we'll get ourselves out of it. One point will almost certainly be enough, and I can see us getting at least that. Still not good enough by any stretch of the imagination, but ultimately its about retaining or PL status at this late stage of the season.

"Fulham Down. Birmingham Win 2, Wigan Lose 2, Reading 4 Points, Bolton Beat Sunderland and point at chelsea (stranger things have happened when it concerns boro)"

[:)]

Typical Boro eh?

Can't see it happening though...reckon 1 point will see us okay, especially if Spurs win and Fulham win.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

1 point would mean we are mathematically safe if Birmingham don't beat Fulham or Spurs beat Reading or Sunderland beat Bolton. Draws at those last 2 games, would almost certainly mean safety also.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

I want one more win, preferably v. Pompey, so last match of the season means nowt.

Can't be doing with worrying over other teams results.

Although two draws would suffice.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

like the other thread said we deserve to be relegated if we cannot pick up any points from 2 home matches.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

I do myself, well 2 actually. But at this late stage of the season staying up is all that matters. It'd quite an interesting dogfight down there if we weren't still in the mix.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Agree with heaton and mm40. If we went down, we might bemoan the "incredible" string of results that had to go against us for us to go down yet we put ourselves in this position and it was entirely our fault.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

That's funny that Pink, what with you trying to educate me when I told you months back we were likely to still be struggling until the end of the season.

Very very strange actually.

Was it in the Gazette or something?

Experts? - I S*** em.

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

I happen to believe we'll win them both but in typical boro fashion it wouldnt suprise me if both games were

Boro 0 Pompey 1(Kanu)

Boro 0 Citeh 1 (Vassel)

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Pompey have lost more games away than we've lost at home. City away have lost the same as we've lost at home.

When I saw these fixtures a couple of months ago I thought they were great to finish the season off and could be our saving grace. I watched Pompey at home to Blackburn at the weekend, they weren't good at all.

We've been atrocious this season, but still managed to win 5 at home. We should scrape through. Birmingham have to win at Fulham away (only done it twice) then beat Blackburn at home (Blackburn's away record is better than Pompey's). I know where my money would be going. They lost a two goal lead on Saturday, that was the nail in the coffin. Their spirts will be down and an early Fulham goal will see them off.

Mappy - For the record I only ever disagreed with you over your thread about "Square pegs in round holes"

On that thread i believe I put my point across extremely well, and in the end believe you accepted it (i.e Pogatetz was signed as a Left Back etc etc)

As you will know, I have never disagreed with you over the issue of relegation etc - I have never gave an opinion on them issues as the aforementioned thread was one of, if not the only, topic of yours I commented on.

I let you battle for supremecy with all the others on here about struggling / southgate / etc etc

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

i feel we will win on saturday and probably put in a decent performance, get a quiock goal in fiorst 15 minutes as southgate tells teh players to go out there and go for it. only worry will be defoe. then mancity will be a very dull end of season game

NoelBlakeFanClub Posted on 30/04/2008 11:16
If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

Don't worry about us (Pompey) this weekend - the past few weeks have shown that we only care about one more game this season on May 17th.

Plus - our away form in recent weeks has been horrible - don't let our excellent run of away games earlier in the season fool you.

I'll be surprised if you don't win in all honesty - especially as you're still looking to get yourself over the finish line, as it were...?

If we get beat on Saturday we will go down

When we win on Saturday we will stay up.

Now doesn't that sound nicer.
