SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Next season.

onform Posted on 17/04/2008 19:04
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

why?

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 19:08
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

just selling tickets on the day, plus when we play the big teams its for away supporters.

onform Posted on 17/04/2008 19:09
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

where do get this from? or are you just making stuff up?...Even the big teams would be unlikely to sell the whole South stand.

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 19:10
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

it has come from the ticket office i phoned them 2day.

onform Posted on 17/04/2008 19:12
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Fair enough then, surprised they havn't released this then.

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 19:13
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

apparently we are gettin free cup tickets for next season for the inconvience

Revol_Tees Posted on 17/04/2008 19:15
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I say go for it. Plenty of room in the North Stand for season ticket holders who like being behind the goal.

The likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sunderland would easily sell out a 5000+ allocation at the Riverside. They do it at Wigan every year. Chelsea, Spurs, Everton (etc) probably could as well.

If true, it's clear that the club are trying maximise revenue from gate receipts and getting more away fans in won't harm.

onform Posted on 17/04/2008 19:18
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Fair enough, I suppose it wont harm the atmosphere either..

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 19:19
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I think its a great idea, just a bit gutted when ive had the same seat for yrs.

glur Posted on 17/04/2008 19:32
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Wasn't it said a while back that Gibson was in favour of giving more tickets to better away supports?

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 20:32
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

i dont want to be in the north stand... young chavs swearing and hurling abuse at our players. I take three young kids and i have a seat close to away fans always an atmosphere and they love it.

Have sat in the north east and west for cup games. I am always pleased to get back to my normal seat in the south.

Will have to look at the price to move to the east. phecking club. I like the idea of taking the younguns to darlo. OK maybe not lol

blackandwhitewetdreams Posted on 17/04/2008 20:34
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

not happy about this. Sit near the away fans as well and these a decent group of people around us who create a decent atmosphere. Added with the banter with away fans it's always a good atmosphere. Whenever I've sat anywhere else I couldn't wait to get back to my normal seat.

Towell Posted on 17/04/2008 20:37
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Sit in the East or the South east or the South west or the North West then Juno.

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 20:43
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

south east is as good as it can get but watching football from the corners should be the cheapest as the seats are crap to watch football...

I think i am going to move to the east and pay more.... money saved on the kid lost at the increase in the three adult tickets. In one hand and out of the other

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 20:45
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Like i said above junouk i love my seat, im going to move to the south east corner , it should still be a good atmosphere there.

Towell Posted on 17/04/2008 20:46
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

You'll have to put up with all the whingers in the East though.

I mean even more whingers than usual.

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 20:48
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Plus they dont sing towell

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 20:51
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

anywhere will be better than the north. I have sat in that stand twice and both times I moved seats. Loads of tracksuits having had a pint of lager thinking they are wonderful... It was awful.

West stand for cardiff ( say no more) and also the following game. Prawn sandwich is about right. no one said anything.. apart from the people around us from the south lol. we were stood up and the people around were asking us to sit down and watch the match.

east still sounds best even if they whinge.

Told my 13 year old no season tickets available to anyone UNDER 18.. thought I could get away without getting him one... didnt work. why did i not think he would check up on here.....

alvesdad Posted on 17/04/2008 20:59
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Junouk you say you dont want to go to the North Stand because of the chavs swearing and abusing our players FFS you sit in the South Stand DONT the Away fans swear and abuse our players LOL

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 21:08
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

i can accept that.... thats what away fans do.

Home fans should support imo.

I can never understand the people who pay a lot of money and come out with abuse to the likes of Downing. You can have your opinion but I dont always want to hear it. Thats what this type of forum is about.

Anyway we will see what the club has to say when my renewal arrives in a week or so. Just going to find a credit card with free interest for 6 months...

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 21:10
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Barcleycard are doing a 0% one

Towell Posted on 17/04/2008 21:11
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Pink Ponce also sits in the East, or at least he used to.

bernies_quiff Posted on 17/04/2008 21:42
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Junouk

What's the problem with a bit of swearing at the match, no matter who it's directed at ????
It shows people are bothered.

You don't like the North 'cos people have the odd lager or two, you don't like the West 'cos people have a Pims or two and a prawn butty.

Maybe you should save some cash and not bother renewing and just let the kids go in the North and enjoy the booze fuelled atmosphere.

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 21:51
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

maybe i will jack it all in. after cardiff i was prepared to. after standing in the cold queing for tickets to the ZDS cup final fa cup final/ semis/ league cup final. i was and then carrying a bucket around the ground to get the club some cash in 1984 i thought about stopping going to watch them. none of them have stopped me going in the end. I am sure moving seats wont either.

In all this time i have never slagged any players off wearing a boro shirt even DGL. They have achieved something i was never able to. Played for a club I love. I can not understand anyone booing the players hurling abuse at the team you are there to support. But that is just me all grown up now.

The atmosphere in the north lol....

bernies_quiff Posted on 17/04/2008 22:00
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I too am all grown up. I too have never booed a Boro player. I too was in the queue for the ZDS semi and final tickets (plus the rest) but I aint gonna tell someone else they can't boo !!.

They pay their money the same as me, thankfully though they are in the minority and it's up to them what they do.

The atmosphere in the North is a damn sight better than in the South BTW.

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 22:03
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I think that depends Bernie, ive sat in the north, but i love it in the south.

bernies_quiff Posted on 17/04/2008 22:10
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Smogette

I've sat in the South a couple of times, it's ok if we're winning but it's fooking awful if we're getting beat and having to listen to all the away support ramming pigbag down our throats.

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 22:12
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Thats true like bernie [:)]

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 22:14
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

got to agree with smogette. South is a better atmosphere.

We all have our own opinion. I dont tell people they cant boo but I dont understand those who do.

Plenty in the south boo but not often do I hear anyone having a go at individuals like I have found in the North.

junouk Posted on 17/04/2008 22:18
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

bernie when we are away from home we out sing most clubs.

At home we are bloody awful. i thought the mancs were great the other week. best noise they have made at our place. Better than when they won the league. It was great watching them $h it themselves when we were 2 1 up lol

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 22:20
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

junouk, im the first to voice my opinion, but never have i booed anyone in a boro shirt , and i have been watching boro for 37yrs ,home and away, and believe me i have seen some dreadfull performances ( worse than cardiff)

blackandwhitewetdreams Posted on 17/04/2008 22:21
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

The Mancs did go awfully quiet thou when 2-1 down.

bernies_quiff Posted on 17/04/2008 22:24
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Yeah it must have been good watching the C****ernees $hitting it. But not so good when they equalised.

I agree they were loud, but they soon shut up when we equalised.

mborolass88 Posted on 17/04/2008 23:07
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Is this for real? I sit right by the away fans and I love my seat, been there for years. We have a good chat with everyone around us who have also been in the same seats for years and I'd rather not move. I hope this isn't true.

fatharrywhite Posted on 17/04/2008 23:11

well, the prices on here only have south east and south west prices..

Cecil_J_Mctumshie Posted on 17/04/2008 23:27
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

both times I've sat in South Stand it was depressing-loads of young want-to-be-chavs running around screaming at each other like they were on a school outing. North Stand is much better with the same faces and voices every game

smogette Posted on 17/04/2008 23:30

Theres no little chavs sit near me Cecil.

Esekiel1517 Posted on 17/04/2008 23:30

standards Posted on 17/04/2008 23:49

LOL Cecil, not many in the south stand actually, as i tend to see them at the away games and know quite a lot.

I know what you mean, our whole row is ST holders and the people in front as well.

Not the end of the world though and hopefully it will condense a few more "singers" in the South East corner adjacent to the away fans.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 14:18

SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Same here parno,

moody Posted on 18/04/2008 15:45
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Phoned and confirmed. The club are now only selling South Stand tickets on a game by game basis.

This is to allow the club to offer the whole of the South Stand to away clubs. Also, it allows them to adjust the price for the stand according to how much the away team charge us for the corresponding fixture. Allowing the club to charge Chelsea fans 48.

Fans will be giving priority over current non-ST seats either the North, corners, west lower or east lower at 390. The club will give fans all home cup games free for next season.

boroleeuwen Posted on 18/04/2008 16:24
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Yeah , but doesn't help if we are drawn away and get knocked out
first game.I am disgusted.

fatharrywhite Posted on 18/04/2008 16:38
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

"The club will give fans all home cup games free for next season.
"
are they allowed to do that? Thought with the FA cup they had a to charge a minimum price per round. Wont the opposition kick up a fuss at the reduced gate receipts?

The_same_as_before Posted on 18/04/2008 16:39
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

does it really matter, FFS fans are getting as soft as Ronaldo.

collo1875 Posted on 18/04/2008 16:40
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Cant believe we are being treated 2nd to the away fans
a lot of people like to sit behind the goal for obvious reasons
but away fans will get priority then game by game fans while the people putting there money into the club are shunned again
i also owe smogette an apology from another thread as i didnt believe this would happen
SORRY

collo1875 Posted on 18/04/2008 16:45
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

on another whinge
if the south east corner and north stand are filled, thus leaving only the west and east stand available, does this mean you will pay 390 as opposed the person sat next to you, who has paid full price and also pays for his/hers cup tickets
i wouldnt be happy if i was a full paying east / west stand st holder

rob_fmttm Posted on 18/04/2008 16:53
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

They cannot charge away fans what we are charged. The rule is you must charge away fans what home fans would be charged for the same seats. So if North stand is 24 for Boro fans for instance then same view etc in South Stand for away fans must be 24.

collo1875 Posted on 18/04/2008 16:55
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Ive rang up today rob
and they say they are moving our fans so that the full stand can be charged as MFC want to
she even stated chelsea charging 48.00 for our fans is part of the reason

rob_fmttm Posted on 18/04/2008 16:58
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I don't disbelieve you - but am not sure how having the full stand available can have any influence on the price. Maybe if it means the North Stand is a total sell out they cannot give a corresponding Boro price.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 17:22
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Collo,apology accepted [:)]

mat_evans Posted on 18/04/2008 17:41
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Surely there can't be a complaint? You south standers will be able to sit anywhere you like for the price of a south stand ST and potentially coup free cup tickets to the price of around 160. I know it's an arse to move from a seat you'v been sat in for years, but putting everything into consideration is it really worth not renewing because you have to move seats?

allchopa Posted on 18/04/2008 17:46

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 18:09
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Ive moved my seat to the south east corner, but when you have sat with the same people for over 10yrs, its still upsetting that we have to move.

junouk Posted on 18/04/2008 18:43
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

oh well its true... cant believe it.

Will have to move to the SE corner. Are the club moving the schools to the south stand then the away fans can hurl abuse and the 9 and 10 year olds. my daughter has been with the school few times and she loves it not sure she will be to pleased sat in an empty stand against wigan.

it will also look great on the TV behind the goal all empty seats. Maybe the club have decided we can only play on a Saturday at 3 oclock... no to many fans would want that lol...

Has the club thought about how hard it is going to be to police a load of 13 to 18 year group of young white lightening fueled gangs? Might have to increase the season card prices next year to cover the police costs.. you heard it here first.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 18:50
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Junouk told you, its going to be for general sale, unless its one of the big teams then its away fans, think the young kids are stayin were they are, as they are making a family fun section in the east lower.

Boro4life2008 Posted on 18/04/2008 18:55
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

re smogette

are you the woman who goes to the away games on the stockton metro coach? just am sure i have seen you a few times at away games thats all.

i sit in the south aswell and am fumin just like everyone else i've sat in that seat as soon as the riverside opened its a real kick in the teeth.

the club haven't thought this through at all if they are giving the whole south stand to away fans because if they give 5k tickets to away fans say sunderland, newcastle, everton, liverpool and possibly hull if they are promoted then there will be loads trouble etc.

surely there must be a way of stopping this like a petition or something?

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 18:59
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Thats me Boro4life,im annoyed but i dont think its going to change, the whole south standers should all get our tickets in the se corner, keep the great atmosphere going [:D]

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 20:26
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

People could upgrade their seats for next season for the same price as the South Stand but what happens the season after that, they may not want to pay the additonal cost, they risk upsetting a lot of people when they are not exactly selling out anyway.

Cornerflag Posted on 18/04/2008 21:17
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Mat what do you mean there cant be a complaint, a gather you are not sitting in the south stand. Cup tickets what a load of B*******. Yes its an arse to move i go with my 10 yr old daughter who loves were she sits with people who she now knows who pass the sweets round and have a laugh with her and others. No offence mat but its you not been moved.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 22:01
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Cornerflag, we are all gutted, but i dont reckon there is anything we can do about it, i take my daughter + her mate, we have sat in the same seats since the riverside was built.

mat_evans Posted on 18/04/2008 22:13
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

mate it's a seat!!! it's not like you're being told you have to stand or the prices have doubled!! You're being moved to a seat of your choice in a state of the art (sort of) stadium AND you're being compensated for it!! Bit of perspective surely???

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 22:17
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Mat, I take it your not in the South Stand, would you like to be moved from your seat, I doubt it, are they going to gaurantee us South Stand prices every year, I don't think so.

Cornerflag Posted on 18/04/2008 22:20
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

yeah me to smog was moved against cardiff and derby an me daughter hated were we were sat for them games. Dont no what a tell her now. Think we tell gibbo an lamb there seats have been moved an see what they say. MFC god only knows who runs this club.

No i don't sit in the south stand, but if i did i don't think i'd be too bothered especially if i could pick a seat anywhere for the same price and some.

Smogette, in which case fair point.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 22:27

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 22:32
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Mat, thats a short term view, what about all the people around you that you have had a good crack with for a few seasons, and say you move to the West Stand, what happens after that first season, you get a renewal for 500+ for the next season, as for the Cup tickets, what if we do another Cardiff performance in the first round and bomb out.

SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

We will only be compensated if we have a good cup run , which is not guaranteed.I rang the ticket office today and was told that we(south standers) should have had letters by now explaining the move.I've certainly not had one - has anyone else?
The club must have known for some time about this ...why didn't they get people's opinions first?
We can't move anyhere we like ...just whats left affter renewals are made.I sit on back row (35) with 3 others , the TO lady checked while i was on the phone...can't get 4 similar seats together on row 35 in North Stand.I'm proper pi**ed off about this.

Big difference mat when you take children to the game and they are used to sitting next to people who they know and not family just genuine folk who follow the boro.

SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

What if the opposite seat is already taken in the stand?? Some people tend to see going to the match as a social thing aswell its like having neighbours you get to know the people around you and now because MFC have said so you have to go and sit else where and lose contact witht the people you have been sat around

joebonano Posted on 18/04/2008 22:48
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Surely if there are people who really enjoy each others company it is possible to exchange details and try to move together to a different area of the ground.

GGGG Posted on 18/04/2008 22:50
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

yeah possibly the area you sit in is like a neighbour hood or a street in fact i dont know why im getting my self involved i dont have to move Yay for the north stand

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 22:50
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

What en-mass, I doubt it, what if people are looking 2 seasons ahead and want to move to an area that will be the same price and are looking for 12 tickets together or something, what are the chances?

mat_evans Posted on 18/04/2008 22:54
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I've sat in the same seat since the riverside opened and we don't really have that much crack with people around us...it is the west stand afterall. I don't know i must be missing something.

i do agree with you guys regarding the way they went about it, a letter a least sould've been sent out.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 22:55

Very slim Bren, i will be chattin tomorrow with the people around me, cos they will not know about this, as 3 are from dumfries + 2 from cumbria.

Seriously we need to make our feelings known tommorrow somehow.

SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

I sit in the east.I'm quite friendly with 2 blokes on my left and 3 behind. The rest I dont talk to.If I was faced with a move I@d be quite happy to ask them where they were going if I was that bothered.

smogette Posted on 18/04/2008 22:59

I honestly think if this was going to happen in the north stand, there would be an uproar.

boroleeuwen Posted on 18/04/2008 22:59
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Exactly Mat...we love it in the South Stand , where we've sat for 12 odd years and get along great with all around us...it would never be the same again if we had to move.I suppose it's like being evicted , even though you HAVE paid the mortgage.

GGGG Posted on 18/04/2008 22:59
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

the clubs not going to change their mind over this so i do think people need to either make a point and maybe not renew, which really shouldnt be an option, or accept that the club is trying to change things for what they feel is for the better and just move

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 23:04
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

The club making a change for the better, in what respect, the better for their finances maybe, but what about their customers.

joebonano Posted on 18/04/2008 23:06
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Can I suggest that you contact this Bauser bloke at the club.He seems very approachable.I'm sure that the club will be happy to try to move people together if you ask.The fact that free cup tickets are on offer suggests that they know people will be a bit miffed and will bend over backwards to accomodate.

Do you reckon we have to move just for the new scoreboard from darlo. [:D]

joebonano Posted on 18/04/2008 23:08
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Explain how is it better for finances to dish out free cup tickets

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 23:11
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

What is their real motive for the move, they see it as putting up with some discontent for a season and then think it will be forgotten about, which it probably will but it could backfire if people chose not to renew the following season, people get used to their surroundings.

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 23:17
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Dishing out free cup tickets is a one of hit, they don't get that many going anyway, what if we bomb out first round, thats really no big deal to them.

MFC so cheesed me of today. Nite every1

SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

AS I understand it the club have not made this public yet. When they do they will give their reasons.I dont know what they are .Other clubs have recently moved away support presumably meaning that some home supporters had to move[Chelsea and Villa].Try to be positive .Either move with the people you enjoy sitting with or if you are not bothered move to the best seat you can get next year West Stand Upper as you will get a 550 seat for 390.After the discount ends move back to the cheaper area.

At a time when gates are dropping they never fail to drive another nail in the coffin, to drive more people away, another cracking decision.

You mean like letting all undre 18 in for 95.Another nail in the coffin

Bren_MFC Posted on 18/04/2008 23:27
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

Exactly, who is making these decisions, on one hand they reduce the kids tickets and in the same breath they upset a few thousand in the South Stand, whats going on?

Yeah...big press release about the kids tickets -but they've been keeping very quiet about this move.I'm doubly cheesed off cos my son is 17 this year and has had season ticket since he was 4

Listen mate I'm off to bed.I have probably sounded unsympathetic but I suppose I would be cheesed off if I had to move as well. All I can say is ask the club if they will help you relocate with other South Standers.I'm sure they will do their best to help if you ASK. Goodnight and God bless

Move to the north west corner, good view and good atmosphere off the North Stand when it gets going.

junouk Posted on 19/04/2008 08:38
SOUTH STAND ST HOLDERS HAVE TO MOVE SEATS

The club will not change there mind. Its happening we have to get over it.

I think my problem and those around me is the fact we have all sat in the other areas and did not like it. My kids like there seat the banter and chat around them. They also like the fact they know everyone.

The south stand is different than any other area. We have a small bar and what feel like a community same faces all having a pint watching the early kick off together adn chatting about the team etc. I also think most people in the stand are ex holgate enders, so we are old ( sorry smogette) with young children who we have encouraged to watch our team. Its a shame but we have to bite the bullet and move.

Just have to try and find where everyone else is going. South East upper or South West but isnt this where the 18 to 21 frontline wannabes are being put??
