Bernie. I genuinely never make any comment on your posts and actually think that the stance of asking you to stop cutting and pasting was pathetic.

But genuine unloaded question: Do you like LJ or just think he speaks sense?

Can't get link to work. But presume it's his usual moronic right wing bile!

I think he speaks sense.

Not sure about liking him as a person as such, as sadly i've never met him. But i think his opinions are 99% bang on.

"his opinions are 99% bang on."

Even when they're proven to be based on factually incorrect assertions/evidence?

Fair enough Bernie [^]

"Even when they're proven to be based on factually incorrect assertions/evidence?"

To be fair Viv that doesn't make any difference to your argument. What I mean is that yourself and some others would always put an argument against LJ's opinion regardless if it's based on fact or not.

I personally don't care. Seen LJ on Question time once and he seemed to speak a lot of sense. Also read his column once when it was put up on here and half seemed sensible and half seemed shyte.

It is funny though when Bernie posts LJ's column and there are some clambering to contest his thoughts.

Like people arguing over X Factor judges opinion's really as none of it matters.

EB, arguing over the X Factor doesn't promote racism and hate. Littlejohn does!

EB, to be honest I've never watched the X Factor, but it's fair to presume it doesn't! Does it?

Errrr.. I dont watch it SQB [:I][:I]

EB, I've never been to the North Pole, but I know it's fcuking cold! There are definitely some safe presumptions to make in this world.

Well, personally, I always like to consult the facts when forming an opinion. I think it's kind of important.

I feel that Littlejohn has a position of responsibility and does a lot of damage with what he says, especially when he doesn't seem to take fact of any kind into consideration when churning out yet more nonsensical propaganda.

That's why he should be challenged wherever possible.

More sense in this short piece than LJ has written

Link: ...in his entire life

Emmersons_BrazillianDong Posted on 18/12/2010 16:42

Perhaps I could have been clearer. Facts are important but some people including yourself Viv will disagree with somebody such as LJ regardless of what he says.

I think if LJ was to say that Boro have struggled for a few years people would still argue the point.

No they wouldn't

Emmersons_BrazillianDong Posted on 18/12/2010 16:47

I disagree. They would.

Edit: You don't need to convince me how much sense or shyte LJ posts by the way. I don't read it and dont care [^]

I'll disagree with him on the things he says that clearly aren't true, or are based on inaccuracies.

He has a hefty track-record for talking rubbish, fabricating lies to add weight to his lazy, sensationalist agenda and ignoring the truth in an attempt to skewer public opinion.

He deserves all of the contempt that comes his way. If he spoke the truth, or entered into a reasonable debate with people, then maybe he wouldn't be such a laughing-stock.

He taps into the dark hidden areas that exist in people's minds - especially people with little intelligence or imagination. Try to avoid.
What a combination! Talksport and Richard Littlejohn.

Didn't like him when he stuck his influential oar in to the Boro 3 points episode and still don't.
