Hard to see how BP can survive this leak

Obama is talking about limitless liabilities for damaged business's and workers affected, in fact every consequential damage you can think of in the mosy claims conscious society in the world.

They might as well pack in now and get themselves taken over.

Obama seems hell bent on making sure that it goes under. I wonder what he would be saying if it was an American company responsible for it ?

Hard to see how BP can survive this leak

If you can find the time to read all of this, there is a lot of evidence to indicate that BP screwed up big time before the explosion.

It's part of his political agenda; get rid of oil and replace it with green energy.

Watch his speech he gave from the Oval office and you'll realise what he is up to.

Which is a good idea, unfortunately about 20 years too late to prevent the US from suffering big time as oil production from easy to produce fields depletes.

That is a very interesting article HarryX and has certainly opened my eyes. I get constant updates from BP (not an employee just on a BP platform) and this sort of news is certainly not getting circulated

If you look at the history of oil fields in the sea. You will find that the Americans were the pioneers, and ALWAYS put production before safety.

Our own North Sea platforms are a perfect example of profit before nature and people.

The Oil Drum website is the real deal if you really want to know what the people who work in the oil industry day in day out really think.

CNN/Jon Stewart reporting that BP has 760 safety violations over the past three years.

Exxon by comparison, had 1 violation during the same period.

Doesn't matter which way you look at this BP is in deep shyte.

As for their senior management, once this lot is sorted I think they'd be well advised to avoid the US if they want to avoid doing time in a penitentiary.
