I admire Tony Mac....interview on Boroworld.......

He said its the lads fault and its time to go "back to basics". GON said they could feel the "edge" in the stadium, when watford scored, and west brom, and leicester....

I don't admire him, he's abysmal.

They should start playing home games behind closed doors.

Its the ultimate irony that our fans at home are a hinderence rather than a help.

i heard this stupid comment that our home fans are gunna prevent us going up this year at the game on saturday. turned round and told the lad he was talking total rubbish and it had nothing to do with the fans its the players fault who have been horrendously at home

Agreed! But dont we always get told its because we dont smile and clap as they pile their thousands into the bank. The poor things dont like being told off. Bless....[}:)]

For 8 or 9 minutes at the beginning of the second half against Watford, the fans were up for it, because the players got on top and started rattling Watford. Unfortunately the players lost the initiative.

99% of fans are behind the club, they don't pay 23 to be depressed, players give us some passion and a bit of quality. Sometimes in a attempt to be measured and professional the players have lost some passion.

I thought our fans response when they scored was pretty good in the north anyway. Good rendition of come on boro! Only lasted about 2 mins tho until our players decided they weren't up for it...

Nothing wrong with the fans, the support is generally good considering this 5 wins in 22 home matches statistic.

I'd be interested to know how many Boro goals we have seen in those 22 matches.

It's just another excuse from a management team and a bunch of players who are rapidly running out of excuses for ridiculous home defeats to the likes of Watford and Leicester.

This is not the premier league where you play the likes of Chelsea, Villa, everton, even Stoke.

We are playing some real cra* now and still getting beat.
