I had one in my garden, it looked a bit skinny so I fed it some ham, but it didn't really like it.

So I thought fuq you and booted it over the fence.

Did you know there are no snakes in Ibiza, because the hedgehogs ate them all.

zoec Posted on 23/09/2009 09:37

Really?!

I'd be interested in a snake-eating hedgehog. I wonder where you can get one from?

Other than travelling to Ibiza, that is.

Ask it if its a "fair trade" anti hound hedgehog.Has it got a name?[smi] He sounds cuddly.

There's no hedgehogs in Australia, the aboriginals booted them all over the fence.

Ms Zoec, perfectly true, a British bloke brought them to his house and the rest of snake history is no more.

Unless the Tour bloke had had a few and was telling Porkies.

I wonder if that's what happened in Ireland?

St Patrick gets all the plaudits for ridding Ireland of snakes, but in reality it was a crack team of hedgehogs.

The_same_as_before Posted on 23/09/2009 09:49
hedgehog in my wheelie bin

Nah, they just didn't like Ireland.

Muttley Posted on 23/09/2009 09:56

Wasn't this a hit for UB40?

I rather think the Tourist Guide in Ibiza was playing the "Let's see how big a lie I can tell to stupid tourists without anyone challenging me" game!

I imagine Juan, Manuel and Carlos sat in a bar of a night "And I told this stooopeed Eeengleesh woman our hedgeehogs eat snakes!"

"HA HA HA!"

"Juan, you bastadd"

Is that true Muttley? will have to google it. On the scale of me looking stupid thats a low 2, but I bow down to your ultra allertness at all times.

I don't know but it sounds utterly preposterous to me! How on earth would a hedgehog kill a snake (other than by sticking in it's throat)?

Perhaps it's simply a folk story, like St Paddy and the snakes in Ireland?

PIECHUCKER Posted on 23/09/2009 10:06

Plenty of snakes here in Spain, but I've never seen an hedgehog.

zoec Posted on 23/09/2009 10:07

They could eat the snakes eggs. Or maybe Spanish hedgehogs have access to rocket launchers. Not sure which is most likely.

Far away from the techno base you will find the origin Ibiza. Lots of Trekking and Biking trails cross pine forests, little hills and miracle bays. Luckily you donít have to be afraid of dangerous animals, because on Ibiza there are no poisonous spiders or snakes
